The DKEX 250-4 rectangular duct fan from Systemair is an explosion-proof, versatile fan designed for safe and efficient airflow in hazardous environments such as battery-charging rooms and fume cupboards. Featuring a compact galvanised steel casing with a copper inlet cone, forward-curved impellers, and an external rotor motor, this fan ensures reliable operation while allowing flexible installation in any orientation. Integral thermistors (PTC) protect the motor from overheating and allow speed control when connected to a suitable motor protection relay. Certified according to ATEX standards (EN 50014, 50019, EN 1127-1, EN 13463-1), it delivers up to 2,580 m³/h airflow at 1355 r.p.m., while maintaining a low noise level of 58.9 dB at 3 m, making it ideal for industrial and hazardous applications.
