The controller allows fans to operate at full speed while a space is warming up before being reduced to a lower speed level where noise and draughts need to be minimised. It can also allow fans to be installed at lower heights than intended. The controller has a maximum current rating of 5.0 A, uses an FT-8.0 A fuse, and has a maximum ambient temperature of 35°C. It is designed for smooth-surface mounting and requires appropriate electrical connections and protection.
